About Our Company

Jack Mogus

Hello, please let me introduce myself – and our company. My name is Jack Mogus and I’m the Director of Operations for Nova Technical Services. I started the company back in 1971 and honestly – I enjoy it even more today than I did all those years ago.

As Director of Operations I’m responsible for the conduct of all technical operations. I also meet with and help develop client work projects and proposals, sign paychecks and other checks, conduct all training of technical personnel, I take my turn making the coffee (which nobody else will drink) and I’m responsible for feeding the cat.

I love my job. I really love working with the most dynamic and competent technical team in the industry. I participate in every TSCM operation. Working with our dedicated and professional Tech Teams is a pleasure and a privilege.

I hope you will view the photo gallery under the page heading “State of the Art Equipment” and see the Tech Team in action with our battery of high tech TSCM equipment. I‘m very proud of our people and our equipment.

I want you to know that I will always be available to personally answer your questions or to just chat about TSCM and/or Nova.

Thanks, and have a really great day.

Jack

BUSINESS AND ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE FOR AVALON CORPORATION AND NOVA TECHNICAL SERVICES

DESCRIPTION: Avalon Corporation is incorporated in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Two additional business names are registered to Avalon Corporation in the courts of Loudoun County, Virginia and certified to the Virginia State Corporation Commission, these are Nova Technical Services and Nova Security Services.

Avalon Corporation is based in Vienna, Virginia – a suburb of Washington, DC. The company was originally formed under the name of Nova Security Services on March 19, 1971. In 1976, it expanded once more to include Technical Surveillance Countermeasures services (TSCM). By 1980, with an extensive investment in technical equipment, training and operations for providing TSCM services, the decision was made to equitably dispose of the Physical Security and Investigative Services divisions of the company. The decision was made in order to focus all of our resources, personnel and our facility exclusively on Technical Surveillance Countermeasures. The Company is licensed and fully insured providing our clients with the additional protection and peace of mind of knowing they are dealing with true professionals.
